This programme will review the various types of PSLE Maths word problems, focusing on the concepts related to numbers, fractions, decimals and ratio.
Students will learn about the appropriate strategies to tackle word problems in these areas, thereby strengthening their concepts and fundamentals. (Some of the strategies include “difference unchanged”, “total unchanged”, “equal fraction concept”, “remainder concept”, etc)

Students will explore the Model and Units method of solving, and discuss the strengths of each method and when best to use them.
