It was a hectic, yet fabulous first week of school.
We got to know more friends, started our Chinese classes and were well-prepared.
Our new teachers Aden, Sook Yee, Yang Ping and Yaxi were able to hit the ground effortlessly with their years of experience in teaching. We are thankful for their help, and of course, also grateful to our heroes Sean, Florence, Anna and Kelvin for standing by us for another fruitful year.
This year, we are more determined than ever to help our students ace their PSLE, O Levels and the routine examinations. After the lessons, some of us are already discussing how to rejig our curriculum to best tailor to this year’s cohort of students. After all, every student is unique.
We also are planning more talks to guide them outside the curriculum and also reading sessions to get children interested in languages. While we understand grades are important, especially in Singapore, we are steadfast in our goal in making sure students get a well-rounded education.
