Wallace wanted one last revision with the students before Monday’s Science examinations, so he gathered everyone to drop by yesterday.
We were happy to see them again. Some of the kids came an hour early, while others stayed even after the class to be with their friends. We were just happy to hang out. That’s really the culture we want to instil- let Study Room be the safe and happy shelter they can return to whenever they want.
Yesterday a parent posted a review on our Facebook. There’s one part of the post that struck a chord with us the most- “the teachers (at Study Room) engage him (her son) as a friend.”
We hope that all our students feel the same way. It’s not top-down here at Study Room; we want them to work along with us, treat this place as a second home and enjoy being educated, no matter how tough the learning journey may be.
