Discussion with a local Thai friend about the passing of the Thai King

Secondary school English is not just about getting your grammar and vocabulary right. To do well, you need to learn how to think critically, form a viewpoint and read between the lines.

We are very sorry about the passing of the Thai King. Shared with my secondary school students this news and felt that discussion about the importance of his role isn’t enough. Hence I got them to talk to my Thai friend from Bangkok to understand why the locals respect the king so much and also what the king’s death means for the country. via Facebook Pages http://ift.tt/2cv2DY1
