What I would have done if someone stole our pedagogy

Was recording a Channel U show recently where I was giving my opinions on education.

The host asked what I would have done if a parent came for a couple of weeks, learnt my pedagogy and quit the class.

Ideally, I should have answered that our way of teaching isn’t that easily replicated. (If it is, it would be hard to survive, right?)

But being placed on the spot, I wasn’t able to think fast enough and went with my immediate instincts.

“Then there will one less person to love and care for your child,” I said.

And that really came from my heart. Study Room is built based on the love for teaching and learning. Passion beats everything. It may not sound like the best answer but I believe that cannot be easily duplicated.
